i feel like the pants should be a tad longer but that’s bc i’m weird about pant length. but i LOVE the top and the shoes. had i styled this i might’ve done a fitted skirt instead, but i do like the pants. she just looks like she feels comfortable, and lately whoever styles her clearly doesn’t understand what she likes wearing bc at the last few events she’s just looked uncomfortable. i’m glad to see her looking comfortable and confident, it’s a good look for her!
It’s very bubblegum machine 70s esque for sure. I guess it was supposed to have a kiddy nostalgic vibe to it hence the fuzzy balls on the shirt. I think I can see what they were going for. Can I say I love it? Not exactly, but I do agree she looks 100% more confident this time around. I’ve always said you can make any outfit you wear slay as long as you own it and wear it with pride. see i think the top is so fun, apparently a lot of people don’t like it but i think it’s fun and cute for a 14 year old. i personally liked it and i agree, you can make any outfit look good if you feel comfortable. last time maddie was obviously uncomfortable but you can tell this is so much more her style, because she obviously feels comfortable. so whoever styled her for this, keep styling her comfortably. she’s 14, she doesn’t need to look like a grown adult supermodel trendsetter.
I think its great for this certain event. If she was wearing this to a movie premiere id say its not a good outfit. But its the KCA, its an event geared towards kids and teens. This is a fun outfit that shows she’s a kid but can still pull of a mature outfit i.e. the palazzo pants
